Team

The AgoraNatura team consists of researchers from various disciplines from the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) and the University of Greifswald, as well as of active nature conservationists from the Environmental Action Germany (Deutsche Umwelthilfe – DUH) and the German Association for Landcare (Deutscher Verband für Landschaftspflege – DVL).

The team of the “Land Use and Governance” research area of the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) works in AgoraNatura on economic, social and legal issues and contributes significant knowledge in the field of result-oriented nature conservation projects. Team members are mainly active in the subproject 1, 2, 3 and 4. ZALF is also the AgoraNatura project lead and responsible for the management and coordination of all project partners.

The Working Group “General Economics and Landscape Economy” of the University of Greifswald contributes knowledge on the commodification of ecosystem services and is responsible for subproject 2.

The German Association for Landcare (DVL) is responsible for the supply side in AgoraNatura due to their close relationship with relevant practice partners.

The Environmental Action Germany (DUH) is, for reasons of their practical experience with national and international campaigns, entrusted with the task of implementing and launching the online-marketplace.
